Spring CrawlFest Competition @ KS Rocks Park - Fort Scott, KS Saturday, May 4th, 2013 CRAWLFEST is a NOVICE rock crawling event with no pressure and a fun environment to come out and challenge your buddies on a level playing field. Courses will be designed to challenge Novice drivers, but also to minimize the chance of vehicle damage with an emphasis on safety. We will also have a class for the bigger rigs. Join us for a fun day of crawling in the rocks at Kansas Rocks Saturday May 4th. Spectators are only $5 and are welcome. Tech inspection and registration starts at11 AM. Drivers Meeting atnoon. Crawling to start at1:00 P.M.Cutoff for Registration is12 PM. $25 entry fee includes access to the trails for the day. Top 3 winners in each class will receive a small payout. Don’t forget to grab a buddy to help spot you through the courses! Price: $25 Per Vehicle Adopt-a-Trail Clean-up @ KRRP - Ft. Scott, KS ** CLUB MEETING ** Saturday, May 11th, 2013 Time for our annual Spring Clean at Kansas Rocks Recreational Park located near Ft. Scott, KS. Come join the club to help trim back, re-shape and maybe even map out some new trails. Don't forget to bring your saws, clippers, and shovels. Anything that will help cut back a trail or move dirt as needed. We usually finish work before noon and after a club meeting we'll wheel the rest of the day. NOTE: We will also have a club meeting at noon. Price: Free - if you come and work the trails Everyone Else - Day Pass - $15 per vehicle Night Run @ Kansas Rocks Recreational Park - Ft. Scott, KS Saturday, June 22nd, 2013 Pay an additional $5 and run into the night with a guided trail ride. Wheeling at night is very exciting. Rides starts at dusk and runs till midnight. Price: Day Pass - $15 per vehicle Night Run - $5 per vehicle 5th Annual Fun in the Sun Weekend @ Stockton Lake - Stockton, MO ** CLUB MEETING ** Friday-Sunday, June 28th-30th, 2013 Each year you look forward to a weekend of fun and relaxation right? The BrushBeaters once again will meet up for some relief from the heat at Stockton Lake. At this non-wheeling event some camp out the whole weekend and others we will meet up at Hawker Point camping area on Saturday 29th at 11:00 for food and a club meeting. Afterwards we usually go out on boat rides, hit the swimming area, relax on the beach and just have a good time with our off-roading families. Price: Free - For the meeting and lunch Camping - $18 per night (Register online ASAP to get a site) Rich Hill Parade/Cookout - Rich Hill, MO - ** CLUB MEETING** Thursday, July 4th, 2013 The Brushbeaters will meet up in Rich Hill where we cruise through the parade and throw candy out to the tons of people who come out to celebrate the 4th holiday. Before the parade join the cookout at Donny V's in Butler. It's a lot of fun so hope to see everyone there! More information as the time gets closer. Price: Parade - Bring candy to throw Cookout - Bring a covered dish Crawl 4 Christ 2013 - Disney, OK Thursday-Sunday, July 4th-7th, 2013 Head down to Disney, OK for the annual Crawl 4 Christ event. The intention of Crawl 4 Christ is to glorify God and minister to the off-road community while providing a fun and safe family event. Price: Base - $30 - includes 1 rig, 1 t-shirt, 5 raffle tickets, afternoon activities for kids Economy - $10 - includes 1 rig and 1 raffle ticket Kansas Rocks Recreational Park 10th Anniversary - Fort Scott, KS Saturday, July 20th, 2013 Founded in 2003, KRRP is a privately-owned 240-acre park. Motorized four-wheel drive vehicles, non-motorized bicycles and hikers are welcome on the trails, which feature steep rocky hills, dense woods, and creek crossings. It is open to the public all year, weather permitting. This year Kansas Rocks Recreational Parks is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year! Come out and celebrate with the folks that have worked so hard to give us all a wonderful location to wheel! Price: Free - if you come and work the trails for clean up Everyone Else - Day Pass - $15 per vehicle Advanced Off-Road 201 Course @ KRRP - Fort Scott, KS Saturday, September 28th, 2013 If you have already attended the 101 course or would like to gain some advanced knowledge of off roading here is your chance. The Advanced Off-Road 201 course is now being offered at Kansas Rocks Recreational Park. Sign up early for youf spot and come out ready to learn. We spend a couple of hours in a classroom situation then go to the trails with expert guides to show you what to do and how to get the most out of fun family four wheeling Price: $25 Per Vehicle $5 to stay for Night Run Off Roading 101 Course and October Night Run @ Kansas Rocks Recreational Park - Fort Scott, KS Saturday, October 5th, 2013 If you are new to the sport of off-roading or even if you have been in it awhile and want to learn more about how to wheel, this is the course for you! The course will include class time and workbooks as well as lots of trail time to test what you have learned. You MUST be pre-registered for the course. This class will be restriced to the first 20 entries in order to be able to give quality instruction to the students. Pay an extra $5 and ride into the night! There is nothing like wheeling in the night. Rides start at dusk and run until midnight. See you then! See KRRP for more details. Price: $25 Per Vehicle $5 to stay for Night Run Creep Crawl @ Kansas Rocks Recreational Park - Fort Scott, KS Saturday, October 19th, 2013 Come celebrate our annual anniversary with us in the cool weather of October. The third weekend in October always marks the date for our Halloween themed event called Creepy Crawl. Complete with a meal, costume contest and games, and trunk-or-treat for the kids, along with an exciting night ride through our haunted trails for kids and adults alike. Truly a family event, come run trails during the day and enjoy the festivities throughout the day and evening. Price: Pre-Register (link will be posted when available) $15 day pass Brushbeaters Jeep Club 13th Annual Wheeling 4 Toys event @ Kansas Rocks Recreational Park - Fort Scott, KS Saturday, December 14th, 2013 ![]() Come out to the 13th annual Wheelin' 4 Toys Event at Kansas Rocks! This great event is held the second weekend in December every year. The sole purpose of this event is to gather hundreds of toys and distribute them to needy kids throughout the area for Christmas. Fun is also on the agenda as they provide expert guided trail rides, a hot lunch and a fabulous drawing for great prizes. Another great event with the benefits going to a wonderful cause promises to give these kids a warm heart and a big smile on Christmas day. It will definitely warm your heart as well.
